Kindergarten Registration for the 2018-19 school year will be held at the Office of Central Registration located at the Falls District Office, 100 Myrtle Avenue, Mahopac, between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the following dates:
Austin Road ES: January 8 & 10, 2018 February 6, 8 & 16, 2018
Fulmar Road ES: January 17 & 19 & 29, 2018 February 13, 15, 2018
Lakeview ES: January 22 & 24, 2018 February 2, 27 & March 1, 2018
Save the date and join us on Tuesday, April 25 from 7-8 p.m. at Lakeview Elementary to learn from our teachers and students about what Mahopac is doing with technology in our three elementary schools. We will showcase examples of how Chromebooks, coding, and other Instructional Technologies are being used within our classrooms and after school clubs!

Our trustees serve three year terms and are elected through a public election in May each year. Public monthly Board of Education meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month.

Roger Bell, Trustee
Occupation: Steamfitter with Union Local 638
Education: BA in English from Hofstra University.
Qualifications/Experience: Mr. Bell has been a resident of Mahopac for over 20 years. He has owned and operated a limousine company for 5 years (1994-1999). Mr. Bell has taught High School English at Thomas Edison High School in Queens, New York from 1990-1993. He has 20 years of experience in construction, primarily in high-rise residential and commercial properties and school construction in NYC. Mr. Bell has experience as a project manager, estimator, and foreman for companies specializing HVAC and fire suppression systems. For the last 9 years, Mr. Bell has been a soccer coach, in house and travel, with MSA. He is a proud father of a soon-to-be Mahopac High School graduate and a Mahopac High School Junior.
Daniel Hunter, Trustee
Occupation: Vice President, JP Morgan
Education: BA in Political Science, with a minor in History from Penn State University.
Two years as Trustee on Mahopac Central School District Board of Education Three children who attend Austin Road Elementary School Mahopac Sports Association (MSA) Football Coach Mahopac resident for over 12 years
31 years of service to this community through employment and volunteerism with a strong personal involvement with our youth through civic and professional programs, like DARE and the Young Boaters Safety Course.
17 years as an administrator managing the police department’s budget, staffing, obtaining funding through grants, and extensive experience in civil service and union practices.
